Weekend Workshop on Flower Arranging

In this weekend workshop, participants will learn the basics of flower arranging and binding, what floristry tools and equipment they need, how to care for cut flowers, where to find information, aesthetic principles, current floristry trends, and more. In practice, we will focus on arranging flowers in containers, tying bouquets, creating arrangements from long-lasting flowers, and wedding and funeral floristry.

Floral magazines and books, soft drinks, the necessary tools, and, of course, fresh flowers will be available throughout the course. Under the supervision of an experienced florist, you will create: a flower arrangement, two bouquets, a wedding bouquet, a corsage, a small funeral wreath, and an arrangement of long-lasting flowers. If there is time, you will also make a flower bracelet and headband.

However, it is up to the participants themselves to decide how they want to structure the course in practice – the important thing is that everyone learns what interests them and improves in the areas they need to. Floristry textbooks are included in the course. The course is limited to a maximum of 5 participants, and you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the seminar.
