Intensive floristic course (4 days long)

In this four-day course, designed for beginners, you will learn the basics of floristry. We will discuss how to select and purchase flowers, how to care for them, and, most importantly, where to find additional information and advice. We will also discuss how bouquets and arrangements are classified, how the Dutch flower auction works, and much more. The course is mainly based on practical experience, with only a little theory, and we will recommend suitable literature, etc. We will also share our experience of running a flower shop and offer the opportunity to visit a flower wholesaler.

Under the supervision of an experienced florist, you will create: a floral arrangement, at least one round bouquet and one one-sided bouquet, a round wedding bouquet, a corsage, a floral headband or bracelet, an arrangement of long-lasting flowers, a small funeral or seasonal wreath, and more, depending on your needs and interests.

Floral design textbooks are included in the course. Throughout the course, domestic and foreign floral design magazines and books, soft drinks, necessary tools, and, of course, fresh flowers are available. The course is limited to a maximum of 5 participants, which ensures an individual approach to each participant.

After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
